Photo-Emo is a group which showcases photography of the subculture phenomonon that is 'EMO'.

If you are Emo, or a photographer of Emos, then please join.

(Other similar sub-cultures which may sometimes feature here are J-Rock, Visual Kei/Kera, Punk, Goth, Goth-mo and Scene - I select pictures which have a mainly Emo vibe, although some of the people in the pictures may in fact identify with one of those other groups.)

GALLERY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO:

:jsenn: Please submit your best Emo photos to FAVOURITES.
Gallery photos will be selected by me from the best of the favourites, and from my regular raiding parties. I will send requests to display the photos of various deviants, and if they are approved by the owners, they will then appear in the gallery.

:jsenn: Only quality photo portraits with good framing and lighting will be displayed in the gallery
(webcam snapshots / mobile phone snapshots / low quality shots should not be submitted please)

:jsenn: Photos should be of Emo boys, girls or couples
(can be same sex or different sex)

:jsenn: Self harm / violence / excessive nudity / or photos with negative connotations will not be displayed.
At this stage I will not be accepting or displaying the negative side of Emo culture - I want this site to be a positive one, showcasing the BEAUTY that can be found in Emo faces, fashion and posturing.

:jsenn: I may add some new gallery folders later - suggestions will be considered.
This list may be altered at my discretion

...so, my photo of my friend was accepted to this group (he has back hair) but a photo of me (witch i do not have black hair) was declined, i don't understand why brown haired emo's are never accepted D; it's totally not hair, could you extplain how it is?
